I’m Yoobin, a 3rd-year Information Science student at Cornell 🐻, concentrating in UX Design & Interactive Technologies with a minor in Urban and Regional Studies.

Creativity has always been my lens for problem-solving and serving my communities — from founding a global-issue awareness magazine in high school through graphic/publication design, to shaping community spaces through urban design, to now building digital and physical product designs that make everyday life a little better.

I once felt insecure about my “too exotic” name, until I began introducing myself as “how have Yoobin.” What started as a creative pronunciation aid became a memorable icebreaker that helped me embrace my identity and connect with people. Now, I bring that same spirit into my design work: using empathy, curiosity, and storytelling to understand users and craft solutions that truly resonate.
